This forests’ history allows footsteps through the thick understory

Early tin mining, logging, an Army outpost

Maybe without this forests’ life events we visitors would not be privy to the path

Who would know?

Shuddering I think of these rainforest trees being brought to the ground

Gratitude at this trail allowing me to witness this place of wisdom

This trail leads to beautiful things

This is a place of community

Community within the ecology of the forest

Community created by the people who love this land

This tiny shelter in the middle of the rainforest

Built by the hands of a family commemorating loved ones lost
